Following the success of his first album, Graeme has just completed his 2nd album titled “The Old Photograph”
The new album is a compilation of 13 old & new songs, a real family album, recorded in his very own studio.
THE OLD PHOTOGRAPH
Have you ever flicked through your Mum's old photo album? Did you ever fall into the pages, reminiscent of your youth? I did - and that's how this song was born. I went back through time, to the time that my Grandfather taught me to ride a horse.
Whenever I'd fall off, he'd make me get back on. "Don't let her beat you" he'd quietly say. When we'd had enough, we'd get on with the rest of our chores, then head off to the old homestead for supper. That's where my Nanna would be...and that's what this song is about.
Remembering my life growing up on a farm, this song is a compilation of my memories. A reflection of the album, it is family orientated brought together by the memories of my grandfather, that are precious and few.
